AMERICAN CREW® SALON LOYALTIES PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

As a member of the American Crew Salon Loyalties Program you will earn Crew Credits every quarter based on purchases of American Crew products from participating Distributors during the quarter. Here is how it works:
  1. If you have not yet registered, you can register online or through a Distributor Sales Consultant. Once you complete registration, you will receive confirmation that we have received your enrollment form. Once accepted into the program, you will receive an enrollment e-mail containing a username and password to access the Salon Loyalties website
  2. At the end of each quarter, American Crew will confirm your purchases with your distributor, update your online account and send you an electronic notification with the number of Crew Credits accrued during that quarter.
  3. Earn Crew Credits – You will earn Crew Credits in accordance with the membership level attained. Crew Credits can be used to redeem your choice of awards from an expanded awards collection that includes professional salon tools, salon merchandise and professional education.
HOW TO EARN CREW CREDITS:

Crew Credits are earned quarterly. All eligible purchases are submitted by your Distributor(s) directly to the American Crew Salon Loyalties Program Headquarters. TO ENSURE PROPER AND TIMELY CREDIT OF ALL QUALIFIED AMERICAN CREW PURCHASES PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT EACH ORDER PLACED WITH YOUR DISTRIBUTOR(S) HAS YOUR AMERICAN CREW MEMBERSHIP NUMBER ON IT. If you notice a discrepancy between the total you spent with your Distributor and the value of credits posted to your account, please contact your DSC or Distributor first. They will then work with us to adjust your Credit balance as appropriate.

1. Achieve an Award Level. The more you purchase, the more Crew Credits you will earn for each dollar in purchases (up to 20 Crew Credits for each dollar purchased). An Award Level is determined by the total dollar value purchased in American Crew products per location, per quarter. Listed below are the qualifying Award Levels for 2013:

$2,100 + Black 10 Crew Credits per Dollar of Quarterly Purchases

American Crew relies on your distributor to report your purchases and participation by our distributors is not mandatory. If a distributor chooses not to submit or has omitted a salon account's purchases, Crew Credits will not be rewarded retroactively.

2. New Salon Loyalties Members Earn Double Base Crew Credits. New Salon Loyalties members will earn double base Crew Credits for all American Crew purchases in the quarter they enroll, from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. You must make an initial purchase of $300 or more to qualify for double base Crew Credits and must be a new member who has never had an account in the American Crew Salon Loyalties program.

Example of Crew Credits Earnings:
New salon account enrolls in February 2013: You would receive double base Crew Credits for all purchases in 1st quarter (Salon account must purchase minimum of $300 that quarter)

If the salon account purchases $325 in Q1 – they would receive 1,300 Crew Credits
$325 x 4 (double the normal 2 CC given for Silver Level) = 1,300

If the salon account purchases $1,320 in Q1– they would receive 15,840 Crew Credits
$1,320 x 12 (double the normal 6 CC given for Platinum Level) = 15,840 bonus

HOW DO I REDEEM CREW CREDITS?
  1. The Salon Loyalties website features a Redeem Awards button. This button gives you access to the online catalog which contains hundreds of items for your business or home.
  2. You can redeem as many awards as you wish – up to the total number of Crew Credits in your online account. Individual awards may have quantity or timing restrictions. Please read the descriptions in detail before redeeming your points.
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING OR TAXES?

Awards include shipping, handling and state and local sales taxes (where applicable).

IMPORTANT: When placing an order, please remember that awards can only be shipped to a street address. Awards cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box number.

HOW OFTEN CAN I REDEEM MY CREDITS?

Crew Credits can be redeemed for awards anytime you want to shop. Crew Credits will be uploaded to your account approximately 45 days after the calendar quarter ends. You will receive quarterly e-mail statements of your new Crew Credit deposit(s) or you can check your account balance and deposits on the website on the Program Statement page. Salon accounts can only redeem their Crew Credits through the Salon Loyalties program website. Crew Credits may not be redeemed for distributor credit/vouchers or cash reimbursement for other purchasing needs. CrewPoints earned prior to July 1, 2009 were automatically converted to Crew Credits in the current, enhanced American Crew Salon Loyalties Program.

HOW DO I USE CREW CREDITS TO PAY FOR EDUCATION?

Crew Credits can be redeemed for certificates to apply towards the cost of any American Crew manufacturer sponsored education course. To book a class, contact your DSC or American Crew Regional Education Manager and they will get you started. Once you know the cost of the class you’ve chosen, you can redeem credits for certificates to cover all or a portion of the class. If you do not pay for a class in-full you will have to pay the remainder through a second form of payment. Certificates are issued for designated amounts and can only be used for their full value.

HOW ARE CREW CREDITS TRACKED?

Every quarter your Distributor will submit your purchases to the American Crew Salon Loyalties Program Headquarters. The timelines for submission are listed below:

Crew Credits are analyzed and uploaded to the Salon Loyalties Professional website as follows:
Quarter 1: January – March Crew Credits uploaded by 5/15
Quarter 2: April – June Crew Credits uploaded by 8/15
Quarter 3: July – September Crew Credits uploaded by 11/15
Quarter 4: October – December Crew Credits uploaded by 2/15
Any sales reported after these dates will roll into the subsequent quarter.

I RECEIVED MY PASSWORD, BUT I DO NOT HAVE ANY CREW CREDITS

A minimum purchase requirement of $1 per quarter is required to have Crew Credits uploaded to your account. All Crew Credits are uploaded quarterly (see schedule above). American Crew relies on your Distributor to report your purchases and participation by our Distributors is not mandatory. If a distributor chooses not to submit or has omitted a salon account's purchases, Crew Credits will not be rewarded retroactively. Please contact your distributor if you have purchased the minimum requirement and have not received your Crew Credits.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Salon accounts register online or manually through a Distributor Sales Consultant. If registering online, click "Not A Member". Once you complete your registration, a copy will be sent to your local Distributor for verification. After your distributor has verified your salon account, you will receive an enrollment e-mail containing a username and password to access the Salon Loyalties website. At the end of each quarter, American Crew will confirm your purchases with your Distributor and mail you a quarterly statement showing you the deposit(s) you received for that quarter. You can also check your account balance and deposits on the website on the Program Statement page.

At this point, American Crew, Inc. will rely solely on the Distributor to verify all salon purchases and submit the salon's name, address, phone number and purchases. So it is incumbent upon you to always use your American Crew membership number with all qualified American Crew purchases.

CAN I SUBMIT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS FOR PURCHASES?

Yes. Multiple salon locations are accepted. However, Crew Credits are earned based on location. If you have multiple locations, your total purchases will be divided by the number of locations. Crew Credits and Award Levels will be awarded based on this number.

CAN I ENROLL MY BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE?

To qualify you must have a salon within your store with at least one chair. Distributor stores cannot currently participate.

DO I EARN CREW CREDITS ON D:FI PRODUCTS TOO?

No. Crew Credits can only be accumulated on reported American Crew product sales.

CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I OWN A CHAIN OR FRANCHISE?

Please contact your corporate office to determine if you qualify for the program.

IS AN E-MAIL ADDRESS REQUIRED?

Yes, an e-mail address is required for you to enroll in the Program.

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY CREW CREDITS I HAVE?

Participating salon accounts will receive an electronic statement via e-mail and the Program Statement page on the website always provides Crew Credits deposits and balance.

WHY DOES MY STATEMENT SHOW FEWER PURCHASES THAN I PURCHASED THIS QUARTER?

We rely on Distributor's information. We also rely on you to keep your profile up to date. If your Crew Credits aren't uploaded properly, it could be because your account information is incorrect. Verify and update your account info routinely. Remind your DSC to include your Salon Loyalties membership number whenever you purchase American Crew products.

WHEN DO MY CREW CREDITS EXPIRE?

Crew Credits do expire two years after the year of issuance. For example, Crew Credits issued in 2011 will expire December 31, 2013. Crew Credits issued in 2012 will expire December 31, 2014.

CAN I PURCHASE ITEMS IF I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH CREW CREDITS?

Currently, all items are redeemable with Crew Credits only. Crew Credits CANNOT be supplemented with money or credit cards.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE AN ORDER?

Many items are 5-10 business days from the date orders are processed. Items shipped directly from the manufacturer may take longer.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

Satisfaction is guaranteed on merchandise selections for the salon or home. All sales are final on American Crew branded professional tools and educational awards. Cancellation fees may apply for American Crew educational courses and will be deducted from your Crew Credit account.

HOW CAN MY SALON BE LISTED ON YOUR SALON LOCATOR?

Shortly after you register for Salon Loyalties, you will receive an e-mail to add your salon(s) to the Salon Locator. Follow these steps to activate your listing:
1. Click the link in the e-mail.
2. Login using your e-mail address and the password provided.
3. Review your contact information.
4. Review your salon details, adding additional locations if necessary.
5. Click 'submit'.
6. Check back in 2-3 weeks to make sure your salon(s) is listed as you intended.

MY SALON IS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?

The American Crew Loyalties Program is designed for only those salons located in the United States. In the future, we hope to incorporate worldwide independent salon accounts. Please continue to check the website for more details.
